Rainfall in South Gujarat
Light to moderate showers have been reported in Dang, Ahwa, Valsad, Vapi, Navsari, and surrounding areas of South Gujarat, with overcast skies prevailing in other districts.
Heatwave Alert Issued
The IMD has issued a yellow heat alert for Porbandar and Gir Somnath today (April 1), warning of potential heatwave conditions. Additionally, hot and humid weather is expected to persist across Gujarat’s coastal regions until April 4, making outdoor activities uncomfortable.
Districts Likely to Receive Rainfall
On April 1 and 2, the following districts are expected to experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers:
- South Gujarat: Valsad, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Narmada
- Central Gujarat: Vadodara, Panchmahal, Chhota Udepur, Dahod, Mahisagar, Aravalli, Sabarkantha
