Effects Environmental Pollution on Human Health:Pollution levels have increased in many cities across the state. In many places, the quality of air has deteriorated and the health of citizens has become a threat. In some places the air quality index (AQI) has reached 200. So the state health department has now taken steps. Measures have been started to prevent air pollution from endangering the health of citizens.

Air quality deteriorates due to winters as atmospheric pollutant gases and dust remain in the air. It can have harmful effects on human health. This month, the air quality of various cities in the state has deteriorated, and it has been found that the air quality index has crossed two hundred. Therefore, instructions have been given to the administration of all the districts and municipalities to take necessary preventive measures and public awareness, informed Dr. Joint Director of Health Services Department. given by Pratap Singh Saranikar.

A survey of acute diseases

A survey of acute diseases caused by air pollution will be conducted in 17 cities of the state. A survey of acute respiratory diseases will be conducted in the emergency department of hospitals in each city. Data on daily AQI levels and respiratory disease patients reported for cities will be collected. Statistics of air pollution-related illnesses and patient deaths are to be recorded. Saranikar explained that by identifying the AQI level and hot spots, necessary health services will be provided there.
