Moreover, a low-pressure system forming over the Bay of Bengal is anticipated to bring additional rainfall to the state.
Additionally, the IMD has announced the development of Cyclonic Storm Tej, originating from a low-pressure area in the southeast and adjoining southwest Arabian Sea, on the upcoming Saturday. This would mark the second cyclonic storm in the Arabian Sea for this year.

The Meteorological Department also said that monsoon will be weak at the beginning. Cyclone Tej has formed in the Arabian Sea. According to the Meteorological Department, the low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into an extreme low pressure by tomorrow.

According to the Central Meteorological Department, the cyclone traveled in the north-northwest direction till the morning of October 22 and then in the northwest direction till the morning of October 24 and it is likely to make landfall on the Yemen-Oman coast between Al Gaidak (Yemen) and Salalah by the morning of October 25.

Low pressure is located over southeast Bay of Bengal and central-east Bay of Bengal. It is likely to intensify into an extreme low pressure over central West Bay of Bengal by October 22. It is likely to move in a north-northwesterly direction for the next 3 days and move towards the Bangladesh West Bengal coast. A cyclonic vortex exists over the Comorin region.
