At this time its speed will be more than 100 km per hour. Rain is forecast throughout the day in coastal areas of Bengal on 26th.

A yellow alert has been issued in these two districts.

On the next day i.e. 27th there is no red alert in any district of Bengal. However, heavy rain is likely in two 24 Parganas, two Medinipur, Howrah, Hooghly, Kolkata, Nadia, Murshidabad, Maldah, South Dinajpur. And Bay Medinipur, Bay Burdwan, Birbhum, Jalpaiguri, Alipurdwar, North Dinajpur may experience heavy rain. The Alipur Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in the rest of the districts. On May 26, 2021, Cyclone Yas hit the coastal region of Bengal and Odisha. The two states on the banks of the Bay of Bengal were heavily damaged. This time also ‘Remaal’ is coming on 26 May.
