Weather Updates Today: Rain changed the mood of the weather, temperatures dropped in these states including Delhi

Havaman Live 2025: Weather conditions are likely to see a drastic change in many areas of North India, as predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). In the northern states, including Delhi, strong winds, thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall may be witnessed on February 4 and 5, they said.

The spring season is here and it is surely making its presence felt in terms of weather as western disturbances have impacted the weather in several cities. Light rain was initially observed in the early morning of Delhi-NCR on February 4, indicating a decline in Monday’s minimum temperatures.

Rain and snowfall will remain in hilly states, including Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Most parts of these regions are likely to experience fresh snowfall and rain in the next 24 hours while the weather will be harsh. Several districts in Himachal Pradesh are expected to witness snowfall today.

Dense Fog Alert in 13 States

A alert regarding group fog has been issued in 13 states by the IMD- these are Punjab Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and kerela “In Punjab, a yellow alert has been issued for dense fog with visibility to drop to less than 50 meters in some areas. A new western disturbance will activate, changing the weather pattern.

The cities of Jaipur and Bikaner in Rajasthan will also record partly cloudy skies, with light rain or drizzle predicted during the evening. Haryana is also on alert as rain is possible in 14 districts under the influence of an active western disturbance.

Dry Weather in Bihar

Meanwhile, dry weather is likely to prevail in Bihar for the next five days. In 5 districts, a yellow alert has been issued for the dense fog and light to moderate westerly winds are expected. There will continue to be clear skies and maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal. There will be morning fog in Himalayan foothill districts.
